Fuentes Calls Out Tucker Carlson’s ‘Bullshit’ Nuclear Rumor

Nick Fuentes says Carlson’s warning of an imminent U.S. nuclear strike on Iran is “made up” — and a trial balloon to rescue JD Vance’s 2028 run.

Nick Fuentes is not buying Tucker Carlson’s nuclear doomsday warning.

On his America First livestream on Nov. 2, Fuentes dismissed Carlson’s claim that the Trump administration may be days away from a nuclear strike on Iran. “I of course think it’s a load of nonsense,” he said. “I think it’s BS, they’re not going to drop a nuclear bomb on Iran, don’t be ridiculous.”

Carlson wrote on Nov. 1 that, “under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran,” targeting Pickax Mountain. He said Trump would likely decide by Nov. 7 and that Vice President JD Vance and envoy Steve Witkoff were the voices arguing for a deal. A day later, Alex Jones said his own sources backed Carlson’s account.

Fuentes granted that a nuclear option may sit somewhere on a list. “I think there’s a non-zero chance that is being considered,” he said, adding that “nothing’s ever really off the table.” But he rejected the framing outright. “To say that that is the only military option, to say that that is an imminent possibility, I think is absolutely ridiculous. I think it’s something Tucker Carlson made up.”

He pointed to a pattern. Warnings of nuclear war with Russia over Ukraine have run for four and a half years, he noted, with no tactical weapon used — and months of war with Iran have passed without one, either. “This is something they’re always trotting out,” he said.

For Fuentes, the real story is 2028. He seized on Carlson naming Vance as the man holding back catastrophe. “So if there’s no nuclear war in the next five days, I guess we know who to be grateful to,” he said. Vance, he argued, “couldn’t stop the war with Iran” and couldn’t broker the peace, so his allies need a new answer on the war before the 2027 primary. “Maybe he stopped the war from escalating to a nuclear holocaust. Maybe that’s going to be the argument.”

“I think that Tucker and his show and his platform is where they’re trial-ballooning all of the JD Vance campaign rhetoric,” Fuentes said. “I think this is no different.”

He made the same point on X earlier that day: “The only reason Tucker is fearmongering about a nuclear strike against Iran is so that he and all of the other Palantir/CIA shills can say that JD Vance saved us from World War III and a nuclear apocalypse.” That post drew more than a million views. That night he went live on Rumble to discuss what he called “Tucker’s big lie about an incoming nuclear strike on Iran.”

Carlson has not named his sources, and no U.S. or Israeli official has confirmed a nuclear plan. In an Oct. 15 Newsmax interview, Trump said, “I wouldn’t use nuclear.”
