Leaked Data Allegedly Ties Vivek Ramaswamy’s Email to Group-Sex Hookup Profile

A 2011 breach of Fling.com lists an account under an address linked to the Ohio GOP governor nominee, surfacing on the eve of the Nov. 3 vote.

A leaked database from the adult dating site Fling.com lists an account registered under an email address that critics tie to Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican nominee for Ohio governor. The claim is unverified, and nothing in the record shows Ramaswamy created or used the account.

Grant Stern, executive editor of Occupy Democrats, raised the allegation on Nov. 1 on X and in his newsletter. Stern wrote that he searched the address on SnusBase, a breach-search engine, and found a Fling.com account created in 2010 under the username “vgvivek14.” He said the same address was used for Ramaswamy’s Harvard email and Twitter account. According to Stern, the profile listed a man seeking a woman for “fetish, groupsex, online flirting, other.” Stern later corrected the email address his article first reported.

On Nov. 2 a quote post from the account @QuarterZippedxx pushed the story to roughly 660,000 views.

Stern framed the record against Ramaswamy’s campaign rhetoric. At a 2023 Daily Signal family forum, Ramaswamy said: “Marriage is sacred. Abstinence before marriage is the way to go. Adultery is wrong.” He has also condemned pornography and keynoted a 2024 Center for Christian Virtue gala. The account predates his 2015 marriage by five years. For voters on the right who already doubted his record, the gap between the pulpit-style messaging and the allegation is drawing fresh scrutiny.

There are serious reasons for caution. The data comes from a 2011 breach. When Vice examined a sample in 2016, it found that Fling did not require users to verify their email address, meaning anyone could register an account with anyone else’s address. Vice also could not determine how many accounts belonged to real users.

The same week, a similar Fling.com profile surfaced tied to an email address belonging to Democrat James Talarico of Texas. His attorneys wrote that he “never created an account on Fling.com,” and that the address had been hacked. They said the account was active for 54 seconds and was “likely created by a bot.”

As of Nov. 2, Ramaswamy and his campaign had not publicly addressed the allegation. He faces Democrat Amy Acton in the governor’s race on Nov. 3.
